The selected candidate will play a pivotal role in supporting the Investor Relations (IR) team by effectively communicating the organization's financial performance and strategic direction to the investment community. This position involves collaborating with various internal stakeholders and contributing significantly to the preparation of essential IR materials.
We are currently looking for skilled professionals for this role and are open to considering candidates at both the Lead Financial Analyst and Manager levels based on their experience and qualifications.
Key ResponsibilitiesQuarter-End and Year-End Reporting Deliverables- The preparation of quarter-end reports is a critical aspect of the Investor Relations communication strategy. These reports serve as a primary information source for institutional investors and retail clients alike. The Lead Financial Analyst/Manager will assist in creating key quarterly deliverables, including the Analyst Presentation and Marketing Deck, as well as internal management reports. This process demands exceptional organizational skills and meticulous attention to detail, involving coordination with other departments and managing a substantial volume of information.
Monitoring Analyst Estimates- The Lead Financial Analyst/Manager will aid in tracking estimates published by the organization's sell-side analysts. This function is vital for the IR team in preparing briefing materials and anticipating potential inquiries from Executive Management.
Annual Rating Agency Reviews- The Lead Financial Analyst/Manager will contribute to the preparation of materials for annual reviews conducted by rating agencies. The organization maintains relationships with major rating agencies, including Standard & Poor's, Moody's, Fitch, and DBRS.
Management Marketing- The Investor Relations team utilizes third-party vendors for market intelligence, tracking buy and sell-side activities related to the organization's securities. The Lead Financial Analyst/Manager will support this effort by coordinating meetings, logging and tracking interactions, and preparing analyses based on market intelligence.
Additional Responsibilities- The role encompasses various projects and ad hoc requests requiring the Lead Financial Analyst/Manager's involvement. These may include Investor Days, preparation of materials for leadership meetings, and Board reporting.
QualificationsTo excel in this role, candidates should possess:
- Strong financial analysis capabilities with a solid grasp of financial statements and accounting principles.
- Proficiency in MS Excel and MS PowerPoint is essential; familiarity with Bloomberg is advantageous.
- The ability to work collaboratively within a team as well as independently.
- Excellent interpersonal and relationship-building skills.
- Strong written and verbal communication abilities.
- Exceptional organizational skills.
