Position Overview: Lead Audit Consultant

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES Reporting to the Director of Audit, your responsibilities will include:
  1. Collaborating with Senior Audit Managers and Directors to facilitate audit execution and advisory projects while engaging with stakeholders to gather insights and clarify findings.
  2. Collecting, organizing, and analyzing data from initial diagnostics to derive meaningful conclusions for audit assignments.
  3. Coordinating essential meetings and interviews to collect information that supports audit conclusions.
  4. Implementing assigned testing protocols and ensuring adequate evidence is documented to substantiate audit results for senior management.
  5. Assisting in the preparation of audit reports for both internal and external stakeholders, ensuring compliance with professional standards in documentation.
  6. Planning and executing independent audit and consulting projects to meet deadlines in collaboration with Senior Audit Managers and the Director of Audit.
  7. Supporting Senior Audit Managers in tracking stakeholder updates on action plans and maintaining effective relationships with management to address audit-related issues.
  8. Engaging in the enhancement of existing audit methodologies by researching industry trends and best practices to optimize OLG's risk and control framework.
QUALIFICATIONS Experience: A minimum of 3 years in the audit sector. Education: A degree or diploma in business administration or a related discipline. Professional certification in a relevant field (e.g., CPA, CIA, CISA). Familiarity with audit management frameworks such as COSO and IIA Standards is essential. Experience in data analytics is advantageous.
