Your Responsibilities:
As a Lead Audit Consultant reporting to the Director of Audit, you will:
- Collaborate with Senior Audit Managers and Directors to facilitate audit and advisory projects, engaging with stakeholders to gather insights and clarify findings.
- Analyze and synthesize data from initial diagnostics to draw meaningful conclusions for audit engagements.
- Organize and coordinate essential meetings and interviews to collect information supporting audit conclusions.
- Implement assigned testing plans, ensuring comprehensive evidence is documented to substantiate audit results for senior management.
- Assist in crafting audit reports for both internal and external stakeholders, ensuring compliance with professional standards in documentation.
- Independently manage audit and consulting projects, ensuring timely delivery in collaboration with Senior Audit Managers and the Director of Audit.
- Support Senior Audit Managers in tracking stakeholder updates on action plans and maintaining effective relationships with management to address issues during audits.
- Contribute to the enhancement of existing audit methodologies by researching best practices and adapting to changes within OLG and the industry.
Qualifications:
Experience: A minimum of 3 years in the audit profession.
Education: A university degree or college diploma in business administration or a related field, along with a professional designation (e.g., CPA, CIA, CISA). Familiarity with audit management frameworks such as COSO and IIA Standards is essential. Experience in data analytics is advantageous.
Key Skills: Exceptional oral and written communication abilities, strong project management and organizational skills, sound judgment, attention to detail, critical analytical thinking, and innovative problem-solving capabilities.
