We are seeking a skilled Cook, ethnic foods to join our team at The Indian Sweet House & Restaurant. As a key member of our kitchen staff, you will be responsible for preparing and cooking a variety of ethnic dishes to the highest standards.
Job Summary:The successful candidate will have a strong background in ethnic cuisine, with experience in preparing and cooking a range of international dishes. You will be responsible for maintaining high standards of food quality, presentation, and safety, as well as working effectively as part of a team to deliver excellent customer service.
Key Responsibilities:- Prepare and cook a variety of ethnic dishes to the highest standards
- Maintain high standards of food quality, presentation, and safety
- Work effectively as part of a team to deliver excellent customer service
- Develop and maintain knowledge of international cuisine and cooking techniques
- Assist with menu planning and development
- Ensure that all kitchen equipment and utensils are clean and in good working order
- Strong background in ethnic cuisine
- Experience in preparing and cooking a range of international dishes
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Ability to maintain high standards of food quality, presentation, and safety
- Knowledge of international cuisine and cooking techniques
The successful candidate will be required to work in a fast-paced kitchen environment, with a high level of physical activity and attention to detail. You will be required to work a variety of shifts, including evenings and weekends.
