Life Enrichment Coordinator

At Verve Senior Living, we are committed to providing a supportive and engaging environment for our residents. As a Life Enrichment Assistant, you will play a vital role in creating a positive and inclusive atmosphere that promotes physical, emotional, and social well-being.
Key Responsibilities:- Plan, direct, and evaluate activities that cater to the diverse needs and interests of our residents.
- Communicate departmental activities and programs to residents, staff, families, and the community to encourage participation.
- Lead and promote resident awareness and participation in leisure, social, and recreation programs.
- Assist in maintaining departmental records, including attendance, assessments, and evaluations of planned programs.
- Collaborate with the Life Enrichment Manager to ensure the delivery of high-quality programs and services.
- Minimum of grade 12 education required.
- Prior experience in recreation programming for a senior population is preferred.
- Diploma or degree from a recognized post-secondary institution in the field of Recreation, Physical Education, and/or Gerontology is considered an asset.
- Class 5 operator's license, clean driving record, and 2 years of passenger driving experience.
- Certified in Emergency First Aid and CPR.
- Excellent leadership skills and ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
