Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and customer-focused Sales Associate to join our team at Harmony Jewellers. As a Sales Associate, you will be responsible for providing a superior customer experience, delivering sound product knowledge, and meeting sales targets.

Key Responsibilities

  • Customer Service
    • Meet with customers to determine their jewellery needs and provide a selection of products to choose from.
    • Deliver exceptional customer service, responding to customer inquiries and resolving any issues in a timely and professional manner.
  • Product Knowledge
    • Develop and maintain a strong knowledge of our products, including diamonds, fine jewellery, and watches.
    • Use this knowledge to make informed recommendations to customers and provide a personalized shopping experience.
  • Sales and Revenue
    • Meet or exceed sales targets, working closely with the Sales Team Lead to achieve business objectives.
    • Use our digital technology and sales tools to stay up-to-date on product information and promotions.
  • Store Operations
    • Assist with store opening and closing duties, including cash handling and inventory management.
    • Participate in visual merchandising and store displays to create an engaging and attractive shopping environment.
  • Teamwork and Communication
    • Work collaboratively with the Sales Team to achieve sales targets and provide exceptional customer service.
    • Communicate effectively with colleagues and management to ensure seamless store operations.

Requirements

  • Previous Experience
    • Previous experience in a retail or sales environment, preferably in the jewellery industry.
  • Skills and Qualifications
    • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with customers and colleagues.
    • Ability to learn and understand our products, including diamonds, fine jewellery, and watches.
    • Basic math skills and accuracy with cash handling.
    • Ability to work a variety of days and shifts, including Saturdays.
