About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Food Service Supervisor to join our team at Lakeview Restaurant. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for ensuring the highest level of service and quality in our food preparation and presentation.

Key Responsibilities
  • Supervise and Coordinate Staff: Oversee the activities of our food service staff, ensuring that they are working efficiently and effectively to meet our high standards.
  • Train and Develop Staff: Provide training and guidance to our staff on job duties, sanitation procedures, and safety protocols to ensure they have the skills and knowledge needed to excel in their roles.
  • Hire and Manage Staff: Recruit, hire, and manage a team of food service staff, including conducting performance evaluations and making recommendations for promotions or disciplinary action.
  • Quality Control: Ensure that all food and beverages meet our quality control standards, including taste, presentation, and safety.
  • Customer Service: Address customer complaints and concerns in a professional and courteous manner, ensuring that our customers receive the highest level of service.
  • Record Keeping: Maintain accurate records of stock, repairs, sales, and wastage, providing valuable insights for our operations team.
  • Scheduling: Establish work schedules for our food service staff, ensuring that we have adequate coverage during peak periods.
