Under the general supervision of the Executive Director of Human Resources, this role is tasked with providing administration and support to the corporate Human Resources team while aiding in the execution and upkeep of corporate HR initiatives. This position ensures compliance with the company's policies and procedures, inspires and leads by example, and fosters a supportive learning environment while creating a safe and inclusive workplace for all employees.
Primary Responsibilities Collaborates with corporate leaders and managers to facilitate the complete recruitment process for specialized and professional roles (e.g., finance, accounting, marketing, technology services); develops recruitment strategies; prepares and manages internal and external job postings; coordinates with recruitment agencies as needed; conducts candidate pre-screening; interviews and performs reference checks; drafts offer letters; oversees employee onboarding; manages HRIS and employee documentation. Manages Occupational Health & Safety and Disability Management programs, including accident reporting, case management, and related policy implementations; works closely with site HR and management; compiles statistics and reports findings. Prepares and oversees all Leave of Absence (LOA) documentation for head office employees; escalates issues to the Director of Human Resources when necessary. Aids in the development, execution, and support of various HR initiatives, including but not limited to employee engagement surveys, policy launches/revisions, service awards, and performance management tracking. Coordinates licensing and compliance requirements for head office employees, ensuring timely and accurate processing of applications and renewals. Maintains the integrity of HRIS data (e.g., JDE EnterpriseOne); collaborates with site HR to ensure data quality; regularly audits data for accuracy and consistency; identifies and leads data cleanup initiatives. Assists in the upkeep of forms, policies, and other HR documentation for the organization, including HR policies and procedures, organizational charts, and various disclosure forms. Communicates professionally and effectively with all relevant operational departments. Builds and nurtures strong working relationships with all stakeholders: guests, management, employees, and regulatory bodies. Ensures adherence to licensing laws, health and safety regulations, and other statutory requirements. Performs additional duties as assigned or directed.Education and Qualifications
High School Diploma; post-secondary education in Human Resources or a suitable combination of education and experience is preferred. HR certification is advantageous. A minimum of 3 years of experience in Human Resources with a solid foundation in full-cycle recruitment for professional and specialized roles (e.g., Finance and Information Technology). Proficiency in MS Office; experience with JDE or other HRIS systems is preferred; familiarity with Visio and Adobe InDesign is a plus. Ability to successfully obtain a Gaming License.Work Environment Considerations
