Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced SQL Server Database Administrator to join our growing team. The ideal candidate will possess a deep understanding of SQL Server administration, performance tuning, and database security best practices. They will be responsible for the design, implementation, maintenance, and optimization of critical SQL Server databases across various environments.

  • Responsibilities:
  • Manage and maintain SQL Server databases throughout their lifecycle, from development to production.
  • Configure and optimize database servers and processes to ensure high performance, availability, and security.
  • Apply data modeling techniques to support integration and performance requirements.
  • Proactively monitor system health and performance, identifying and resolving issues in a timely manner.
  • Develop and implement automation strategies for routine tasks and processes.
  • Collaborate with developers to optimize queries and refine database schemas.

Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of proven experience as a SQL Server Database Administrator.
  • Strong understanding of Oracle, MongoDB, and MySQL technologies, with primary focus on MySQL.
  • Expertise in performance tuning and optimization techniques using native monitoring tools.
  • Experience with backups, restores, and recovery models for SQL Server.
  • Knowledge of High Availability (HA) and Disaster Recovery (DR) solutions for SQL Server.
  • Familiarity with Windows server environments, including Active Directory.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in French and English.

Certifications: MCTS, MCITP, and/or MVP certifications are a plus.
