Vision Group is a leading company in vision correction, and we're looking for a skilled Database Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our technology department, you'll play a crucial role in managing, maintaining, and optimizing our databases, including SQL Server and DynamoDB.

As a Database Specialist, you'll be responsible for administering SQL servers, writing stored procedures, and utilizing Microsoft tools such as SSIS, SSRS, and Power BI for data management and visualization. You'll also model and manage NoSQL data in DynamoDB, integrating it with other AWS services and BI tools.

We're looking for someone with excellent communication skills in French and English, who can translate business requirements into technical specifications. If you have a Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, or a related field, and at least 3-5 years of experience in SQL Server and DynamoDB, we'd love to hear from you.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage backup, restoration, and disaster recovery for SQL Server and DynamoDB.
  • Design relational database schemas and apply data normalization and denormalization.
  • Write and optimize SQL queries, stored procedures, and triggers.
  • Develop ETL processes using SQL Server Integration Services (SSIS).
  • Monitor and optimize database performance, manage indexes, and troubleshoot slow queries.
  • Design model NoSQL data for DynamoDB and integrate it with AWS services and BI tools.
