Job Title: Database Administrator SQL Server/Oracle

About the Role:

CB Canada is seeking a highly skilled Database Administrator with expertise in SQL Server and Oracle to join our team. As a key member of our IT department, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our database systems, providing top-notch support to our clients, and collaborating with our development team to deliver high-quality solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Install, configure, and maintain database systems, ensuring optimal performance and security.
  • Automate daily DBA tasks, including installation, updates, incident resolution, and change execution.
  • Participate in project development, including architecture, installation, testing, and deployment.

Requirements:

  • Minimum 10 years of experience with Microsoft SQL Server, with a focus on high-availability environments.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience as an Oracle database administrator.
  • Experience with MySQL database administration is an asset.
  • Proven expertise in high-availability and multi-site environments.
  • Recent experience with Microsoft SQL Server and Oracle database migrations.
  • Strong understanding of database optimization principles.
  • Excellent organizational, autonomous, and team player skills.
  • Fluency in English and French.
