Wealth Management Associate Program

Scotiabank is seeking highly motivated and sales-focused individuals to join our Wealth Management Private Banking team as Private Banking Associates. This 5-month salaried program is designed to develop your skills in credit underwriting and relationship management, setting you up for success in a career as a personal banker.
Key Responsibilities:- Develop core credit underwriting and relationship management skills through comprehensive training and hands-on experience.
- Build strong client relationships and provide personalized financial advice to high-net worth clients.
- Work collaboratively with a team of experienced Private Bankers to achieve business objectives.
- Completing a undergraduate or master's degree by June 2025, or relevant work experience in building client relationships and providing financial advice.
- Ability to obtain a license to sell mutual funds, dependent on business need in the Region of hire.
- Strong sales and relationship-focused mindset, with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities.
- A comprehensive training program to equip you with the skills and knowledge needed to succeed in Private Banking.
- A path to completing the Certified Financial Planning Certification.
- Placement in a Scotiabank Wealth Management Private Banking office and the opportunity to work with a Private Banking team.
