As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for ensuring the safe and efficient installation, maintenance, and repair of our mass transfer equipment.
Key Responsibilities- Work in gas plant and refinery environments, adhering to strict safety protocols and regulations.
- Perform tasks at heights, in confined spaces, and with cranes and rigging, requiring a high level of physical fitness and attention to detail.
- Handle and install various components, including trays, packing, grid, feed pipe, distributors, collectors, and column pressure internals.
- Collaborate with colleagues to achieve project goals, demonstrating a strong team-oriented mindset.
- Minimum of two years' experience in the oil and gas industry, with a focus on mechanical maintenance and repair.
- Proven experience with basic hand tools and equipment, such as forklifts, zoom booms, air compressors, and more.
- Ability to read and fill out safety paperwork, as well as follow directions and work with others.
- OSSA Confined Space Entry & Monitoring Certified, H2S Alive Certified, OSSA Fall Protection Certified, and CSTS 20 Certified.
- Positive and friendly demeanor, with excellent communication skills.
- Previous experience installing mass transfer equipment, including trays, packing, demister pads, distributors, etc.
- Two years or more of industrial plant experience in blinding, opening, cleaning, and repair of operating pressure vessels, such as towers, reactors, drums, exchangers, and heaters.
- Prior experience working in confined spaces, with knowledge of internal and external piping.
- Ability to read simple blueprints and perform tasks wearing personal protective equipment.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
- Capacity to climb stairs and ladders, stand for long periods, and work in a fast-paced environment.
- Willingness to meet all Company and Customer project entry requirements, including specific training and alcohol & drug testing.
