Tower Mechanic Level I

Koch-Glitsch is a global leader in the design and manufacture of state-of-the-art mass transfer and mist elimination products for various industries.

We are currently hiring Level I Tower Mechanics for upcoming projects in gas plants and refineries across Canada.

Key Responsibilities:

• Working in gas plant and refinery environments.

• Working at heights and ground level.

• Handling of parts and materials.

• Working as a Confined Space Safety Attendant.

Requirements:

• Safety first attitude and execution.

• Minimum of 6 months experience working in construction or trades related environments.

• OSSA Confined Space Entry & Monitoring Certified.

• H2S Alive Certified.

• OSSA Fall Protection Certified.

• CSTS 20 Certified.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Prior experience as a Confined Space Safety Attendant.

• Prior experience working in vessels or with vessel internals.

• Prior experience working in gas plants or refineries.

• Experience with basic hand tools and equipment.

Physical Requirements:

• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.

• The ability to climb stairs and ladders.

• The ability to stand for long periods of time.

• Respiratory Protective Equipment training will be required.
