Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Cook to join our team at Little Thai Place Cook Street (2022) Inc. As a Cook, you will be responsible for preparing and cooking complete meals or individual dishes and foods, inspecting kitchens and food service areas, and training staff in preparation, cooking, and handling of food.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare and cook complete meals or individual dishes and foods
  • Inspect kitchens and food service areas to ensure cleanliness and organization
  • Train staff in preparation, cooking, and handling of food
  • Supervise kitchen staff and helpers to ensure efficient food preparation and service
  • Maintain inventory and records of food, supplies, and equipment
  • Clean kitchen and work areas to maintain a safe and healthy environment
Requirements
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a kitchen environment
  • Attention to detail and ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Dependability, flexibility, and good judgement
  • Ability to work as part of a team and maintain a clean and organized workspace
Work Environment

The Cook will work in a restaurant environment, with a 40-hour workweek and a permanent work term. The work language is English.
