Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Assistant Import-Export Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our logistics and compliance department, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our import and export activities, adhering to international regulations and customs laws.

Key Responsibilities

  • Import and Export Operations: Ensure compliance with international standards and regulations for the import and export of goods.
  • Customs Clearance: Supervise and manage customs formalities and ensure the accuracy of documentation.
  • Logistics and Transportation: Coordinate with transporters and logistics providers to ensure timely and efficient delivery of goods.
  • Administrative and Documentary Tasks: Prepare and verify documents (invoices, certificates of origin, transportation documents, etc.) and update database and tracking systems.
  • Communication and Coordination: Serve as the primary point of contact between internal departments (purchasing, sales, logistics) and external partners (suppliers, clients).
  • Support and Consultation: Provide technical and regulatory support to internal teams and offer guidance on best practices for optimizing import-export processes.

Requirements

  • International Trade Experience: Proven track record in managing import and export operations, with a strong understanding of international regulations and customs laws.
  • Logistics and Compliance Skills: Excellent knowledge of logistics and transportation processes, as well as customs clearance procedures.
  • Communication and Interpersonal Skills: Strong ability to communicate effectively with internal and external stakeholders, including suppliers, clients, and colleagues.
  • Language Skills: Fluency in English (a third language is an asset).
  • Organizational and Analytical Skills: Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and analyze complex data to inform decision-making.
