About the Role

ChampionX is seeking a highly motivated and experienced District Representative to join our team in Rainbow Lake/High Level, AB. As a District Representative, you will be responsible for maintaining and growing established production chemical programs for local oil and gas producers. You will work closely with customers to understand their needs and provide tailored solutions to improve their operations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Document and report services provided and project status to customers.
  • Work closely with current and new customers to understand business needs and recommend continuous improvement and innovation plans.
  • Develop strong relationships with key stakeholders in current and new oil and gas producing customers.
  • Collaborate with sales and technical teams to provide technical support to customers, identifying and resolving customer challenges.
  • Grow technical and sales knowledge to better support customers.
  • Actively sell and support ChampionX innovations and technology in assigned customers to promote long-term business relationships.
  • Some travel is required to support business requirements and receive training.
  • Assist with collection of samples and conduct laboratory analysis.
Requirements
  • Candidate must reside in Rainbow Lake/High Level, AB or the surrounding area.
  • Route territory will include Rainbow Lake, AB and the surrounding area.
  • Immigration sponsorship not available for this position.
Qualifications
  • High School or GED equivalent.
  • Must have a valid Class 5 Driver's License and acceptable Driver's Abstract.
  • Immigration sponsorship is not available for this role.
Physical Demands
  • Must have the ability to Lift/Push/Pull/Carry up to 55 pounds chest high.
  • Must have the ability to work in extreme weather conditions.
  • This is a safety-sensitive position, and the successful candidate will be required to complete pre-employment testing in alignment with ChampionX policy.
Preferred Qualifications
  • 1-2 years of successful technical sales or field sales support experience.
  • Experience in oil and gas industry.
  • High computer application literacy (including Microsoft Office Suite and ability to learn internal business systems).
  • History of working in a field that required autonomy and self-motivation.
  • Prior experience that required excellent communication and organizational skills.
  • Prior experience that demonstrates strong ethics, effective time management, adaptability, autonomy, and self-motivation.
