ChampionX has an immediate need for a District Representative in Rainbow Lake/ High Level, AB. As a District Representative, you will be primarily responsible for maintaining and supporting established production chemical programs for local oil and gas producers as well as for growing the current business. This role you will focus on partnering with your customers to understand their problems, requests and provide tailored solutions that improve their operations. You will be supported by a team of sales and technical professionals and have access to internal training opportunities to grow your technical and sales knowledge.

What You Will Do:

Document and report services provided and project status to customers.

Work closely with current and new customers to understand business needs and recommend continuous improvement and innovation plans that will maintain and improve their operations.

Develop strong relationships with key stakeholders in current and new oil and gas producing customers.

Collaborate with sales and technical team to provide technical support to customers, identifying and resolving customer challenges.

Grow your technical and sales knowledge to better support our customers.

Actively sell and support ChampionX innovations and technology in assigned customers to promote long-term business relationships with ChampionX.

Some travel is required to support business requirements and receive training.

Assist with collection of samples and conduct laboratory analysis.

Position Details:

Candidate must reside in Rainbow Lake/ High Level, AB or the surrounding area.

Route territory will include Rainbow Lake, AB and the surrounding area.

Minimum Qualifications:

High School or GED equivalent

Must have a valid Class 5 Driver’s License and acceptable Driver’s Abstract

Physical Demands:

Must have the ability to Lift/Push/Pull/Carry up to 55 pounds chest high.

Must have the ability to work in extreme weather conditions.

This is a safety sensitive position, and the successful candidate will be required to complete pre-employment testing in alignment with ChampionX policy.

Preferred Qualifications:

1-2 years of successful technical sales or field sales support experience.

Experience in oil and gas industry.

High computer application literacy (including Microsoft Office Suite and ability to learn internal business systems).

History of working in a field that required autonomy and self-motivation.

Prior experience that required excellent communication and organizational skills.

Prior experience that demonstrates strong ethics, effective time management, adaptability, autonomy, and self-motivation.
