Role Overview: Reporting to the Contracts Manager, the Senior Manager of Maintenance Services will be an essential part of a high-performing project team focused on executing complex projects through collaboration and a commitment to excellence.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement comprehensive systems and processes for managing all aspects of Prime Contract and Subcontract Management.
- Draft and enforce Management Plans, Processes, and Procedures.
- Create and maintain registers for Change Orders, Extensions of Time, and Subcontractor Payments.
- Establish workflows for approvals in accordance with Delegation of Authority.
- Design templates for standard requirements under Prime Contracts and Subcontracts.
- Provide strategic oversight and mentorship to the Subcontract Management Team, ensuring best practices are followed.
- Manage financial aspects including Subcontract commitments and change orders within the finance system.
- Attend progress meetings with Subcontractors, particularly for high-value or high-risk packages.
- Ensure all commercial correspondence is conducted in a timely and professional manner.
- Collaborate with Quality, Safety, and Completions Teams to meet all non-commercial requirements.
- Ensure compliance with Alliance Management Plans, Subcontract, and Prime Contract stipulations.
- Proactively manage disputes and oversee the Subcontractor dispute resolution process.
- Assess and manage upstream Adjustment Events, including entitlement assessments and correspondence.
- Directly oversee critical Subcontract packages and ensure proper assessment of progress claims.
- Compile accruals and work closely with the Project Controls Team for monthly project forecasts.
- Enhance commercial awareness within the broader project team through training and mentoring.
- Lead external dispute resolution processes as necessary, collaborating with legal teams.
