Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Building Maintenance Supervisor to join our team at San Jose Construction and Maintenance 1214. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the maintenance and repair of our facilities, ensuring that all work is completed to a high standard and within budget.

Key Responsibilities
  • Supervise and coordinate the work of maintenance staff, ensuring that all tasks are completed efficiently and effectively.
  • Prepare and manage maintenance schedules, budgets, and reports.
  • Ensure that all maintenance work is carried out in accordance with health and safety regulations and company policies.
  • Requisition and order materials, equipment, and supplies as needed.
  • Lead and instruct maintenance staff, providing guidance and support as required.
  • Coordinate and schedule transportation and travel arrangements as necessary.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field or equivalent experience.
  • 3-5 years of experience in a maintenance or supervisory role.
  • Valid driver's licence and own vehicle.
  • Excellent oral communication and organizational skills.
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
