Job Summary

The Licensed Optician is a key member of our Luxury Retail team, responsible for delivering exceptional client experiences and driving sales in our high-end eyewear stores. As a licensed optician, you will be the expert in our optical department, guiding clients in selecting the perfect frames and lenses to suit their lifestyle, wardrobe, and prescription needs.

Main Responsibilities

  • Provide exceptional client service, ensuring a seamless and personalized experience for each customer.
  • Expertly guide clients in selecting frames and lenses, taking into account their prescription, lifestyle, and personal style.
  • Maintain a thorough knowledge of our luxury eyewear brands and products, staying up-to-date on the latest fashion trends and product releases.
  • Ensure accurate and efficient processing of client orders, including frame selection, lens cutting, and adjustments.
  • Collaborate with the Store Manager to achieve sales targets and drive business growth.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, building a loyal customer base and driving repeat business.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • State licensure or certification as an optician.
  • 2+ years of sales experience in the luxury service industry.
  • Knowledge of current optical theory and practices.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet sales targets.
