The Role

We are seeking an IT Support Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our technical support team, you will provide first- and second-level hardware and software support to users. Your responsibilities will include installing, configuring, and troubleshooting point-of-sale stations, as well as performing updates and maintenance.

Key Responsibilities
  • Install, configure, and troubleshoot point-of-sale stations
  • Perform updates and maintenance on hardware and software
  • Conduct installations, maintenance, and troubleshooting of computer hardware and software
  • Review hardware and software, recommending items for purchase
  • Ship and receive user systems for hands-on repairs
  • Act as problem manager for new deployments of corporate applications
  • Perform on-site reviews for remote systems
  • Maintain the storage of backup media
Requirements
  • College diploma or certificate in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related field
  • Information Technology Infrastructure Library (ITIL) certification
  • Experience in maintaining and supporting enterprise-wide software and telecommunications infrastructure
  • Experience in systems analysis, network, hardware, and software management and support
  • Experience in help desk support, problem analysis, and resolution
  • Experience in application testing
  • Client focus, organizational knowledge, communication, innovation, teamwork, and leadership competencies
Language Requirements

Bilingual (English and French) is essential. Reading, writing, and oral communication skills are required.
