As a Senior Creative Strategist, you will be instrumental in guiding the creative team to craft influential and strategic campaigns that effectively convey healthcare-related messages to target demographics. Your role will involve merging your innovative vision with a thorough understanding of healthcare intricacies to produce engaging and compliant campaigns. Collaboration with cross-functional teams, including Creative Directors, Copywriters, Designers, Strategists, Account Managers, and clients, will be crucial for the successful execution of projects.

The Lead Copywriter will approach each brief with a fresh perspective. You will create and inspire work that is exceptional across all channels, distinctive, and renowned for its effectiveness. With a strong background in copywriting, you will help establish creative direction and provide hands-on guidance throughout client team projects, while demonstrating a cohesive understanding of brand requirements and key market factors. You will execute copy at the highest standard and assist team members in delivering their best work, on-time and on-brief.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

Showcasing comprehensive knowledge of each client's brand and the overall healthcare sector by taking a lead role in the briefing, concepting, copy development, and execution of cross-channel initiatives. Demonstrating a profound understanding of healthcare regulations, terminology, and trends to ensure all creative work meets industry-specific compliance standards while remaining compelling to the target audience. Inspiring copy and creative direction while providing 'hands-on' support to the creative team and maintaining an advisory role throughout all projects. Exhibiting highly advanced writing skills in the healthcare domain, to effectively present a point of view, utilizing logic, facts (medical and otherwise), and crafting a compelling narrative. Researching and developing new tone-of-voice guidelines for brands, as well as writing comprehensive guidelines. Collaborating with our Strategy and Account teams to ensure briefs are clear, insightful, and will inspire exceptional creative development. Immersing yourself into the brand strategy and carrying it through to the work, so that all of our communications can be intelligent and effective. Participating and/or leading client meetings/presentations and developing client relationships, while ensuring excellent work reaches the market.

QUALIFICATIONS:

A minimum of 7+ years of industry experience in a well-established, creative role with a proven track record. Agency experience working across all channels. Strong creative portfolio showcasing relevant/category experience, particularly in healthcare and pharmaceutical advertising. Excellent verbal communication skills, with experience presenting to all levels of clients. Experience managing a creative team, including both copywriters and art directors.
