Cedarcroft Retirement Residence is seeking a temporary Housekeeping Aide to support our team.
About the Role:
The successful candidate will be responsible for performing cleaning duties and routines to maintain a safe and pleasant environment for residents and staff.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform cleaning tasks and routines to maintain a clean and safe environment.
- Assist with laundry and linen services.
- Restock supplies and materials as needed.
- Participate in infection control and prevention measures.
- Collaborate with colleagues to achieve team goals.
Requirements:
- Ability to learn and apply basic skills through on-the-job training.
- Self-regulation and independence in work tasks.
- Ability to cooperate with others.
- Previous experience in housekeeping or a related field is an asset.
- Previous experience working in a healthcare environment is beneficial but not required.
- Proof of at least two (2) doses of a Health Canada approved Covid-19 vaccine.
