About the Role

We are seeking an experienced MEP Construction Project Manager to join our team at Turner Construction Company. As a key member of our project management team, you will be responsible for managing and coordinating the installation of mechanical and electrical systems on our construction projects.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead and manage project teams, subcontractors, and owner's consultants to ensure successful project delivery.
  • Prepare and manage contract documents, including contract items lists and required-on-job dates.
  • Participate in schedule update meetings and provide accurate and timely information.
  • Evaluate and manage the processing of RFIs and change orders.
  • Manage budgets and financial reports, including review and negotiation of change orders.
  • Supervise and mentor assistant MEP engineers.
  • Co-lead MEP coordination process with virtual design construction engineer.
  • Prepare scope of work documents and partner with MEP superintendent to resolve conflicts.
  • Conduct regular project walkthroughs and quality control inspections.
  • Identify and inform field staff of difficult installation requirements.
  • Manage and secure municipal and agency documentation.
  • Create and implement quality control plans.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in engineering or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Minimum 4 years of relevant engineering experience or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Technical expertise in mechanical and electrical systems.
  • Business acumen and leadership skills.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Proficient computer skills and Microsoft suite of applications.
