We are seeking a highly skilled Registered Nurse to join our team at Fraser Health. As a Cardiac Care Registered Nurse, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care in a fast-paced acute medical unit.
Key Responsibilities- Assess patients and collect information from various sources to inform nursing care.
- Develop and implement individualized care plans in collaboration with the interprofessional care team.
- Provide direct patient care, including administering medications, performing procedures, and educating patients and families.
- Collaborate with the care team to ensure comprehensive care planning and delivery.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives and contribute to a culture of safety and excellence.
- Graduation from an approved School of Nursing with current practicing registration as a Registered Nurse with the British Columbia College of Nurses and Midwives (BCCNM).
- Completion of applicable post-graduate coursework or an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience.
- Current certification in Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS).
- Experience working in a cardiac care unit or high-acuity setting.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
