Position Overview

Are you a dedicated professional with a strong commitment to patient care? We are seeking a Pharmacist to leverage your expertise in a vibrant and supportive environment. This role offers a unique opportunity to contribute to our Pharmacy department with your exceptional work ethic.

Reporting to the Regional Director of Pharmacy Services or their delegate, you will engage in various pharmacist responsibilities, including: clinical pharmacy practice, drug information dissemination, pharmacy education, project management, and all dispensary functions across Northern Health Pharmacy Departments as required based on operational needs and availability.

Your activities will primarily be conducted through remote support methods such as Telehealth, regional computer systems, and telecommunication, with potential travel to various sites or local assignments as necessary.

Qualifications Required:
  • Current registration with the BC College of Pharmacists.
  • A minimum of two (2) years of hospital experience or an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience.
Skills and Competencies:
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong organizational abilities, with the capacity to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines efficiently.
  • Capability to provide instruction and/or supervision to students.
  • Proficiency in operating relevant equipment.
  • Physical ability to perform the duties associated with this position.
