Position Overview

Are you a dedicated Pharmacist with a strong commitment to patient care? We are seeking a registered Pharmacist eager to leverage their expertise in a vibrant and evolving setting. This role presents an exciting opportunity to contribute your exceptional work ethic to our Pharmacy department.

Reporting to the Regional Director of Pharmacy Services or their delegate, you will undertake the responsibilities of a pharmacist in various domains, including: clinical pharmacy practice, medication information, pharmacy education, project initiatives, and all dispensing activities across all Pharmacy Departments as needed based on coverage requirements, workload, and availability.

Tasks will primarily be conducted through remote support methods such as Telehealth, regional computer systems, and telephone communication, but may also necessitate travel to different locations or local on-site assignments as required.


Work Schedule: This is a regional position, with flexibility in location. Typical shifts are Friday, Saturday, and Sunday, from 08:00 to 16:00.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor of Pharmacy (Pharm).
  • Current registration with the BC College of Pharmacists.
  • A minimum of two (2) years of hospital experience or an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience.
Skills and Competencies:

  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to prioritize tasks, manage workload efficiently, and meet deadlines.
  • Capability to provide guidance and/or supervision to students.
  • Proficiency in operating relevant equipment.
  • Physical ability to perform the duties of this position.
