Job DescriptionJob Summary: We are seeking a seasoned Lead Business Analyst to lead consulting engagements focused on industry regulations and business process improvement. The successful candidate will have a proven track record of delivering large and complex projects within financial services.
Key Responsibilities:- Lead Consulting Engagements: Lead consulting engagements focused on industry regulations and business process improvement, developing plans and estimates for completion of requirements.
- Requirements Planning and Prioritization: Advanced knowledge and proven experience in requirements planning and prioritization, including stakeholder analysis and effort estimation.
- Requirements Elicitation: Proven experience with requirements elicitation techniques, including collaborative sessions with diverse business stakeholder groups.
- Requirements Documentation: Develop and prepare comprehensive requirement specifications, user stories, use cases, process flows, and other documentation for review.
- Requirements Walkthrough and Sign-off: Lead requirements walkthrough and sign-off sessions, providing guidance and feedback to stakeholders.
- Project Delivery: Support QA in testing activities, design and development activities, and functional support activities.
- Team Leadership: Provide guidance, feedback, coaching, and mentoring to build the capabilities of assigned business analyst team.
- Experience: 7+ years' experience as a Senior Business Analyst with progressively increasing responsibilities in the areas of requirements management on large and complex projects within financial services.
- Industry Experience: 10+ years of Financial Services Industry experience, preferably with custody, corporate security services, investment counselor services, or trade management.
- Knowledge and Skills: Solid understanding of Custody, AML, Security, and Foreign Exchange Trading and Settlements. Proven experience with project delivery methodologies - Iterative Waterfall and Agile. Advanced knowledge and experience in requirements planning, elicitation, and prioritization.
- Education and Certifications: Certified Business Analysis Professional (CBAP) or Project Management Institute – Professional in Business Analysis Certification (PMI – PBA) is an asset.
