Fencing Instructor Job Description

Vango Toronto Fencing Center is seeking a skilled Fencing Instructor to join our team. As a Fencing Instructor, you will be responsible for teaching fencing techniques and strategies to individuals and groups of various skill levels.

Responsibilities:
  • Demonstrate and instruct fencing techniques and strategies to individuals and groups
  • Lead groups and individuals in recreational or leisure fencing programs
  • Plan and carry out fencing activities and events
  • Maintain and repair fencing equipment
  • Keep logs and maintain records of fencing activities and events
  • Prepare reports on fencing activities and events
  • Ensure health and safety regulations are followed during fencing activities and events
Requirements:
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • 2 years to less than 3 years of experience in fencing instruction or a related field
  • Criminal record check
  • Excellent oral communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Flexibility and adaptability
Work Setting:

The Fencing Instructor will work in a private club setting, with a team of 5-10 people. The work language is English, and the work hours are 30 hours per week.
