About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Cloud Solutions Architect to join our team at Amazon. As a key member of our Worldwide Specialist Organization (WWSO), you will play a critical role in driving revenue, adoption, and growth from large and fast-growing small- and mid-market accounts to enterprise-level customers.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and execute go-to-market plans that turn AWS ideas into multi-billion-dollar businesses.
  • Provide expertise across the entire life cycle of an AWS customer initiative, from developing ideas for new services to accelerating the adoption of established businesses.
  • Lead technical strategy for AWS' Data and Analytics services for LATAM customers.
  • Create sales plays, leverage partners, and build new initiatives that drive results for our customers.
  • Provide critical feedback from customers to inform our product roadmap, and work closely with our partner network to build an ecosystem supporting our customers' goals.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree
  • 8+ years of infrastructure architecture, database architecture and networking experience
  • Knowledge of cloud architecture
Preferred Qualifications
  • 8+ years of experience in specific technology domain areas (e.g. software development, cloud computing, systems engineering, infrastructure, security, networks, data and analytics)
  • More than 8 years of experience in design/implementation/consulting/migration of Database solutions in one or more of the following banks: Oracle SQL, Microsoft SQL Server, PostgreSQL, MySQL
  • More than 5 years of experience in design/implementation/consulting/migration of NoSQL solutions in one or more of the following products: DynamoDB, MongoDB, Cassandra
  • More than 3 years of experience in defining, implementing, or consulting applications and infrastructures
  • Professional proficiency in Spanish and English is required.
