About the Job

We are seeking a skilled Carpenter to join our team at L&L Concrete Foundation Ltd. As a Carpenter, you will be responsible for constructing, repairing, and installing structures and fixtures made of wood, wood substitutes, and other materials.

Key Responsibilities
  • Measure, cut, shape, assemble, and join materials to create structures and fixtures.
  • Sand, trim, grind, or clean products into final form using hand tools.
  • Observe equipment and instruments to ensure processes are operating according to specifications.
  • Assemble, install, and set-up merchandise/products.
  • Trim joints and fit parts and subassemblies together to form complete units and reinforce joints.
  • Ensure safety procedures are followed.
Requirements
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience an asset.
  • Ability to work at heights, in various locations, and in physically demanding environments.
  • Reliability and team player skills.
  • Steel-toed safety boots and other necessary tools/equipment.
Work Environment

The successful candidate will work in a fast-paced environment with a combination of sitting, standing, and walking. Overtime may be required, and the position is physically demanding.

Language

The language of work is English or French, and the hours of work are 30 to 40 hours per week.
