LifeLabs Medical Laboratory Services is in search of a Medical Lab Technologist specializing in Hematology.

As a Medical Lab Technologist, you will be responsible for delivering precise and prompt diagnostic specimen testing and reporting. Your commitment to accuracy, quality, and efficiency will significantly impact patient care and contribute to improved health outcomes. Position Overview:

This is a Full-Time position featuring flexible shifts that promote a healthy work-life balance. LifeLabs facilities serve as educational laboratories, providing opportunities for knowledge sharing, 24/7 medical support from our Medical Science team, and resources from our Medical library.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Conduct a variety of diagnostic and interpretive specimen tests.
  2. Perform, analyze, and report results while ensuring patient confidentiality.
  3. Identify incidents and non-conformities, contribute to the development of effective corrective action plans, and drive continuous improvement.
  4. Assist in evaluating and implementing new technologies.
  5. Engage in problem-solving related to work organization and workflow.

LifeLabs seeks a Registered Technologist with CSMLS certification who can thrive in a fast-paced team setting while adhering to our standards of safety, accuracy, and efficiency. Ideal candidates will possess:

  1. A college diploma or university degree in Medical Laboratory Science, or equivalent education and/or experience.
  2. Strong communication skills to interact effectively with diverse individuals.
  3. Proficient computer skills and knowledge.
  4. Problem-solving abilities, including the capacity to identify and address issues.
  5. A commitment to maintaining the highest standards of safety, patient privacy, and confidentiality.
