Job Title: Long Haul Truck Driver

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Long Haul Truck Driver to join our team at Transource Freightways Ltd.

Job Summary:

The successful candidate will be responsible for transporting goods and materials across various locations, working as part of a two-person team or convoy. This is a permanent position with a 30-hour workweek.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Operate and drive straight or articulated trucks to transport goods and materials
  • Load and unload goods
  • Perform pre-trip, en route, and post-trip inspections and oversee all aspects of vehicle
  • Perform preventive maintenance and emergency roadside repairs
  • Record cargo information, hours of service, distance traveled, and fuel consumption
  • Communicate with central dispatch and relay information
Requirements:
  • Air Brake (Z) Endorsement
  • Driver's License (Class 1 or A)
  • Valid passport
  • Criminal record check
  • Driver's validity license check
  • Driving record check (abstract)
  • Drug test
Work Environment:

This is an on-the-road job, requiring flexibility and willingness to travel cross-border, for extended periods, and overnight.
