Our client, a leading financial institution, is seeking an experienced IT Project Manager to oversee the delivery of complex projects in the Capital Markets division.
Key Responsibilities:- Develop and maintain project plans, defining objectives, setting timelines, and collaborating with application owners and subject matter experts to ensure successful project delivery.
- Ensure that business needs and outcomes are met as per the business case, and hold regular meetings and work sessions to ensure project management deliverables are met.
- Apply knowledge of project management and life cycle development methodologies, as well as technical architectures, to drive project success.
- Cultivate strong relationships with stakeholders within the organization, leveraging effective communication and stakeholder engagement to drive project success.
Requirements:
- 8+ years of experience working in a relevant capacity as a project manager, with a strong background in technology project management.
- Minimum 3-4+ years of experience managing technology projects in the Capital Markets industry, with a proven track record of success.
- Strong recent experience with one or more of: Murex, ION, or Broadridge, with a deep understanding of the Capital Markets ecosystem.
Nice-to-Have Skills:
- T+2 experience is highly desirable, with a strong understanding of the associated technologies and processes.
