About the Role

We are seeking a reliable and physically capable individual to join our team at R&L Truck Repairs Ltd as a Mechanic Assistant. In this role, you will provide support to our mechanics and tradespersons in the repair and maintenance of heavy equipment and trucks.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist Mechanics and Tradespersons: Provide support to our mechanics and tradespersons in the repair and maintenance of heavy equipment and trucks.
  • Move Equipment and Materials: Safely move tools, equipment, and other materials as required.
  • Signal Safety Procedures: Signal safety procedures to other workers and to the general public as necessary.
  • Perform Cleaning Tasks: Clean machines and immediate work areas to maintain a safe and efficient work environment.
Work Environment

This is a physically demanding role that requires the ability to work in a noisy and dusty environment. You will be required to stand, walk, and bend for extended periods, and may be required to handle heavy loads.
