Job Title: Retail Store Supervisor

Tipton's Your Independent Grocer is seeking a highly motivated and organized Retail Store Supervisor to join our team. As a key member of our store operations team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth day-to-day operations of our retail store.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assign sales workers to duties and oversee their performance
  • Hire, train, and develop staff to meet business needs
  • Authorize returns and resolve customer complaints
  • Establish work schedules and manage inventory
  • Prepare sales reports and analyze data to inform business decisions
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues to achieve business objectives
Requirements:
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent experience
  • 1-2 years of retail experience, preferably in a supervisory role
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines
  • Physical ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 25 pounds
