About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Retail Store Supervisor to join our team at 1019826 Alberta LTD. As a key member of our retail team, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our store, ensuring excellent customer service, and driving sales growth.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead and manage a team of 3-4 retail sales staff, including cashiers, retail salespersons, and sales clerks.
  • Assign tasks and duties to team members, provide guidance and training, and ensure they have the necessary tools and resources to succeed.
  • Order merchandise, manage inventory, and maintain a clean and organized store environment.
  • Authorize returns and resolve customer complaints in a timely and professional manner.
  • Prepare sales reports, analyze data, and provide insights to inform business decisions.
  • Work closely with the management team to achieve sales targets and improve store performance.
Requirements
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a retail management role.
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and make decisions under pressure.
  • Attention to detail and ability to multitask.
