About the Role

PCL Constructors Inc. is seeking a highly skilled Talent Acquisition Specialist to join our Edmonton NAHQ office. As a key member of our enterprise Talent Acquisition (TA) team, you will play a critical role in evolving our TA strategies, programs, employer branding, recruitment marketing, processes, and technologies.

Responsibilities
  • Collaborate with internal and external partners to optimize how PCL attracts, sources, assesses, and mobilizes top talent who fit and add to our culture.
  • Develop and execute recruitment marketing campaigns, drive efficient and effective processes, and implement innovative tools to enhance the candidate experience.
  • Stay informed of TA innovations, advancements, and labor market trends, and apply this knowledge to drive business results.
  • Research and recommend solutions based on stakeholder feedback, market trends, and best practices.
  • Develop training, documentation, and communications to support team initiatives.
  • Use analytical skills to evaluate data, develop insights, and influence stakeholders to action.
  • Identify and evaluate external vendors/consultants and manage partnerships and deliverables.
  • Collaborate across HR and the business to ensure alignment with priorities and initiatives.
Qualifications
  • Post-secondary diploma or degree in human resources or a related discipline, or equivalent experience.
  • 5+ years of related TA experience, preferably in a corporate environment or search firm.
  • Registered Professional Recruiter (RPR) is an asset.
  • Demonstrated ability to build relationships, partner with, and influence stakeholders throughout the talent acquisition process.
  • Experience developing enterprise-wide recruitment programs, campaigns, and strategies.
  • Significant experience with social recruiting platforms and TA technologies.
  • Excellent analytical skills, knowledge of best-in-class TA metrics, and ability to tell a compelling story.
  • Research skills to identify best practices and gaps, and develop solutions accordingly.
  • General knowledge of applicable federal, state, provincial, and local regulations.
  • Flexible and adaptable team player who thrives in a collaborative environment.
  • Results-oriented with proven project management experience.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication, multi-tasking, organizational, follow-up, and negotiating skills.
