Job Title: Building Maintenance Technician

We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Building Maintenance Technician to join our team at Lion's Gate Building Maintenance Ltd.

Job Summary:

The successful candidate will be responsible for performing a variety of tasks related to building maintenance, including cleaning, repairs, and maintenance of facilities. This is a permanent position with a 40-hour workweek.

Responsibilities:
  • Perform cleaning tasks, including sweeping, mopping, and waxing floors and stairs
  • Operate industrial vacuum cleaners to remove debris and dirt
  • Empty trash cans and other waste containers
  • Make minor repairs to heating, cooling, ventilation, plumbing, and electrical systems
  • Contact contractors for major repairs and maintenance
  • Perform minor repairs on appliances
  • Supervise other workers
  • Clean and disinfect bathrooms and fixtures
Requirements:
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • 2 years to less than 3 years of experience in a related field
  • Ability to work in all weather conditions
  • Ability to work in an urban area, office building, and various locations
  • Ability to lift up to 23 kg (50 lbs)
