About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Carpentry Specialist to join our team at KK Builders. As a key member of our construction team, you will be responsible for ensuring the highest quality of workmanship in all aspects of carpentry.

Key Responsibilities
  • Layout and Measurement: Prepare accurate layouts in conformance to building codes, utilizing measuring tools to ensure precision.
  • Material Preparation: Measure, cut, shape, assemble, and join materials made of wood, wood substitutes, lightweight steel, and other materials to meet project requirements.
  • Structural Construction: Build foundations, install floor beams, lay subflooring, and erect walls and roof systems to meet building codes and specifications.
  • Maintenance and Repair: Maintain, repair, and renovate residences and wooden structures in various establishments, including mills, mines, hospitals, and industrial plants.
  • Work Environment: Work in a fast-paced construction environment, adhering to safety protocols and regulations.
  • Work Schedule: Work a standard 35-40 hour workweek, with occasional overtime as required.
Requirements
  • Education: Possess an Other trades certificate or diploma.
  • Experience: Have at least 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in carpentry or a related field.
