BURNCO MANUFACTURING INC. is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Carpentry Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our construction team, you will be responsible for ensuring the highest quality of workmanship and attention to detail in all aspects of carpentry.
Key Responsibilities- Estimating and Planning: Prepare detailed estimates of labour and material costs for various construction projects.
- Site Management: Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and sketches to determine work requirements and ensure compliance with building codes.
- Carpentry and Construction: Measure, cut, shape, assemble, and join materials made of wood, wood substitutes, lightweight steel, and other materials to build foundations, install floor beams, lay subflooring, and erect walls and roof systems.
- Team Leadership: Schedule and coordinate work on sites, instruct apprentices, and estimate costs and materials.
- Quality Control: Ensure that all work meets the highest standards of quality and safety.
- Education: No degree, certificate, or diploma is required, but experience is highly valued.
- Work Language: English is the primary language of communication in this role.
- Work Hours: 30 to 40 hours per week.
