Food Service Supervisor

Cobblestone Cafe is seeking a highly skilled Food Service Supervisor to join our team. As a Food Service Supervisor, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our cafe, ensuring that our customers receive exceptional service and that our food and beverage offerings meet the highest standards.
Key Responsibilities:- Train and Supervise Staff: Train and supervise food service staff to ensure they have the skills and knowledge to provide excellent customer service and prepare high-quality food and beverages.
- Estimate Ingredient and Supplies: Estimate ingredient and supply requirements to ensure that we have the necessary resources to meet customer demand.
- Hire and Manage Staff: Hire and manage food service staff to ensure that we have the right people in the right roles to deliver exceptional customer service.
- Quality Control: Ensure that our food and beverage offerings meet quality control standards by conducting regular quality checks and implementing corrective actions as needed.
- Budgeting and Cost Estimation: Prepare and manage budgets and cost estimates to ensure that we are operating within our means.
- Customer Service: Address customer complaints and concerns in a professional and courteous manner.
- Reporting and Record Keeping: Prepare and submit reports and maintain accurate records to ensure that we are meeting our operational and financial goals.
- Work Schedules: Establish and manage work schedules to ensure that we have the right staff in place to meet customer demand.
- Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
- Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a food service environment.
- Skills: Excellent communication and leadership skills, ability to work in a fast-paced environment, and a strong commitment to customer service.
