Executive Director, Regional Hospital

We are seeking an experienced and visionary Executive Director to lead our Regional Hospital team. As a key member of our senior leadership team, you will be responsible for developing and implementing strategies to optimize healthcare resources and improve patient outcomes.
Key Responsibilities- Participate in strategic planning and decision-making processes to drive the future vision and direction of the Regional Hospital.
- Identify and prioritize short, medium, and long-term objectives, programs, and services to achieve seamless care across hospitals and community settings.
- Represent Fraser Health and the Regional Hospital to the community, maintaining effective relationships with municipal leaders and stakeholders.
- Collaborate with Executive Directors of Regional Programs to identify and remove barriers to seamless care, ensuring smooth transitions and integration of services.
- Accountable for the annual operating and capital budget for the Regional Hospital, working within approved financial mandates to recommend and establish program/service priorities.
- Identify and review proposals for new or expanded programs, monitoring evaluation of existing programs to ensure effective resource allocation and development of new funding sources.
- Participate in the development and delivery of health services in collaboration with physicians and other healthcare team members, establishing monitoring and reporting systems to identify and follow-up on deficiencies in patient care services.
- Provide leadership to support engagement for physicians, staff, and volunteers, maintaining partnerships with Foundations to ensure common understanding of objectives and programs needs.
We are seeking a candidate with a Master's degree in a health-related discipline and 10-15 years of recent, related progressively senior management experience in a large healthcare organization. The ideal candidate will demonstrate the leadership practices of the Fraser Health Leadership Framework of Clear, Caring, and Courageous, creating conditions for people to succeed.
The successful candidate will possess professional/technical capabilities, including the ability to demonstrate leadership practices, create conditions for people to succeed, and maintain partnerships with Foundations.
