- Operational Management: Oversee the day-to-day operations of the Regional Hospital, ensuring effective management of resources, staff, and services.
- Collaboration and Partnerships: Foster strong relationships with physicians, staff, and community partners to ensure seamless care and effective service delivery.
- Quality Improvement: Develop and implement quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient care and services, in accordance with industry standards and accreditation bodies.
- Financial Management: Manage the annual operating and capital budget for the Regional Hospital, ensuring effective resource allocation and optimal use of resources.
- Human Resources: Lead and manage a team of staff, providing guidance, coaching, and development opportunities to ensure high performance and engagement.
- Communication and Stakeholder Engagement: Develop and maintain effective communication channels with stakeholders, including staff, physicians, patients, and community partners.
- Education and Experience: Master's degree in a health-related discipline, supplemented by 10-15 years of recent, related progressively senior management experience in a large healthcare organization.
- Leadership Competencies: Demonstrates the leadership practices of the Fraser Health Leadership Framework, including Clear, Caring, and Courageous leadership.
- Professional/Technical Capabilities: Possesses strong professional and technical capabilities, including strategic planning, operational management, collaboration, and quality improvement.
