Job Description

Job Title: Human Resources Director - Strategic Leader

Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Human Resources Director to join our team at Jump. As a strategic leader, you will be responsible for developing and implementing human resources strategies that align with our organization's goals and objectives.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Develop and Implement HR Strategies: Ensure the development and implementation of strategies, policies, and programs in the various areas of human resources management, including internal equity, salary structure, and the CNESST.
  2. Contribute to Organizational Objectives: Contribute to achieving the organization's objectives and play a strategic advisory role, adopting an approach that takes into account the organization's issues.
  3. Lead and Develop a Team: Lead and develop a team of more than 15 people, providing guidance and support to ensure their success.
  4. Workforce Planning: Design and implement a comprehensive strategic workforce planning plan to effectively assess the organization's short- and long-term talent needs.
  5. Workforce Management: Implement a structured workforce management plan to identify and clarify the organization's needs and required skills.
  6. Talent Management: Develop and implement an integrated talent management strategy that promotes employee retention and engagement, encompassing recruitment, performance management, skills development, succession management, and total compensation processes.
  7. Organizational Development: Develop and deploy various initiatives and tools as part of an organizational development and change management strategy aimed at improving the effectiveness, performance, and overall health of the organization.
  8. Employer Branding: Design and promote the employer brand strategy through various communication and marketing initiatives.
  9. Collective Agreements: Propose guidelines and strategies for the negotiation of collective agreements and the development of harmonious relations between management and unions.
  10. Health and Safety: Develop and implement programs and tools to ensure a healthy and safe work environment.
  11. Team Supervision: Supervise, develop, and motivate the team of executives who support managers and ensure the application of human resources policies and procedures.
  12. Service Offering: Define and develop a service offering based on the business context and best market practices.
  13. Performance Indicators: Develop, implement, and monitor key human resources performance indicators, aligned with the needs of the organization.
  14. Work Experience: Implement various programs and tools to promote an optimal work experience.
  15. Manager Support: Support managers and their teams in developing an organizational culture that values a motivating management style.
  16. HR Issues: Handle and monitor harassment complaints and all human resources issues.

Requirements:

  • Education: BAC in HR or administration.
  • Experience: 10 years of experience in human resources management, 5 years as a team manager and unionized staff.
  • Skills: Excellent knowledge of the parapublic sector, strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and negotiation skills.
  • Language: Excellent writing skills in French.
  • Leadership: Leadership, communication skills, and the ability to coach and guide teams.
  • Other: Courage in management and team spirit, ability to mobilize employees and work together in changing environments, proficiency in planning, control, analysis, and synthesis, ability to manage pressure with tight deadlines and to assume effective risk management on several projects in parallel.
