The Opportunity

We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Financial Reporting Specialist to join our Financial Planning and Analysis (FP&A) team. This role will be instrumental in managing our commission processes and financial reporting functions. The successful candidate will work closely with our sales and revenue operations teams to deliver accurate commission results and insightful sales reports. Additionally, this individual will play a key role in our monthly closing activities.

Key Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with the sales team to generate precise and timely commission statements.
  • Address inquiries and resolve disputes related to commission matters from the sales team.
  • Coordinate with global payroll teams to ensure seamless commission payments.
  • Develop sales reports for management to identify performance trends and revenue opportunities.
  • Contribute to projects aimed at enhancing commission processes and reporting capabilities.
  • Maintain a comprehensive database of invoices and revenue records.
  • Oversee the monthly commission accrual process.
  • Provide essential inputs and analysis for month-end financial closing.
  • Assist in the monthly Profit and Loss (P&L) forecasting and reporting activities.
Qualifications
  • Minimum of 3 years of relevant experience in financial analysis.
  • A strong passion for innovation and continuous improvement.
  • Excellent analytical and documentation skills, with the ability to manage large volumes of data while ensuring accuracy.
  • Proven experience in reconciling financial data from various sources.
  • Familiarity with financial statements and the ability to produce detailed financial reports.
  • Capability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
  • Flexibility to occasionally work outside standard hours.
  • Strong communication skills and a positive demeanor.
  • Dependable, patient, and possessing high integrity.
  • Solid understanding of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP).
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including pivot tables and logical functions.
  • Strong time management skills with the ability to meet tight deadlines.
  • Experience in a commission-focused role with enterprise commission software is advantageous.
