Job Overview

CI Financial is seeking a highly skilled Financial & Tax Reporting Analyst to join our team. As a key member of our financial operations team, you will be responsible for ensuring the accuracy and timeliness of financial and tax reporting for our mutual funds, ETFs, and closed-end funds.

Key Responsibilities
  • Review and analyze financial and tax data to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements
  • Prepare and review financial and tax reports, including tax returns and distribution calculations
  • Collaborate with internal teams to resolve tax-related issues and ensure accurate financial reporting
  • Develop and maintain relationships with government revenue agencies and external providers
  • Participate in tax-related operations projects, including fund launches, mergers, and terminations
Requirements
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in financial services, preferably in fund accounting and tax reporting
  • Strong knowledge of financial instruments, markets, and accounting principles
  • Excellent analytical, communication, and organizational skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a high level of accuracy and attention to detail
