Role Summary:

The Branch Operations Associate is tasked with a diverse range of responsibilities both on-site and off-site. These responsibilities may include hands-on activities related to yard management, such as performing daily site evaluations, monitoring stock levels, and ensuring a tidy and secure work environment for all personnel. This role is crucial in engaging with clients by assisting them at the service counter and via phone with sales inquiries, payments, and product-related questions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee front-desk reception, customer relations, and support services.
  • Manage customer invoicing through the billing system.
  • Handle lubricant procurement and inventory oversight.
  • Coordinate scheduling and dispatching through operational systems.
  • Order and maintain fuel supplies based on operational needs.
  • Administer health, safety, and environmental training, documentation, and safety meetings.
  • Maintain employee records, documentation, and vehicle maintenance schedules.
  • Conduct daily inspections of the facility and fuel dispensing stations.
  • Manage inventory for supplementary items (pumps, tanks, hoses, etc.).
  • Oversee tank monitoring and asset management.

Qualifications:

  • 2-3 years of relevant office experience is preferred.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills with a commitment to customer service.
  • Intermediate proficiency in software applications such as Excel and Word.
  • Safety-conscious mindset.
  • Willingness to work outdoors as needed to assist clients.
  • Possession of a valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
  • Ability to lift weights up to 40-50 lbs.
  • Capability to apply safety protocols in various situations.
  • Previous training in WHMIS, Dangerous Goods, and Spill Response is advantageous.
  • Experience with internal billing systems is a plus.
