About the Role

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Administrative Assistant to join our team at Galaxy Freightline Inc. As an Administrative Assistant, you will play a critical role in supporting the day-to-day operations of our office.

Key Responsibilities
  • Office Management: Determine and establish office procedures and routines to ensure efficient and effective operations.
  • Scheduling and Coordination: Schedule and confirm appointments, meetings, and events, ensuring seamless coordination and communication.
  • Supply Chain Management: Order office supplies and maintain inventory levels to prevent stockouts and overstocking.
  • Staff Support: Organize staff consultation and grievance procedures, ensuring a positive and supportive work environment.
  • Information Management: Set up and maintain manual and computerized information filing systems, ensuring accurate and up-to-date records.
  • Communication and Correspondence: Type and proofread correspondence, forms, and other documents, ensuring professional and error-free communication.
  • Data Entry and Bookkeeping: Perform data entry and basic bookkeeping tasks, ensuring accurate and timely financial records.
  • Work Environment: Work in a fast-paced office environment, with a focus on teamwork and collaboration.
Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in an administrative role.
  • Language: English.
  • Work Hours: 30 hours per week.
